SCENE START. Ishaya Bako enters the frame. A filmmaker whose work is defined by the intentionality of every frame. Over the past fifteen years, Thorne has developed a signature visual language that melds the raw honesty of observational documentary with the precision of classic cinema.
His approach is deeply rooted in the philosophy of sensory storytelling—believing that sound and light should speak where dialogue fades. From award-winning features to intimate short-form narratives, each project is treated as an artisanal exploration of the human condition.
Currently based in Abuja, Ishaya continues to push the boundaries of narrative structure, collaborating with visionaries across music, fashion, and social advocacy to create films that linger long after the credits roll. CUT TO BLACK.
